Andy's Cycle Sales is a growing and thriving regional dealer selling Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki motorcycles, scooters, side by sides, and ATV's located in Eastern Kentucky just outside of Hazard. No, not the Hazzard that comes to mind from the old television series or the recent movie but located in the heart of coal country. The shop was begun by George Anderson and his brother in 1966 and thus the name Andy's from George's nickname that just stuck even when he sold the shop to Wade Mooneyham and Cecil Liford in 1976. Andy's once more changed owners in April of 2002 with Harry Watts, Junior taking the reins and immediately beginning the drive to modernize and see the business grow to better suit the desired regional market. Andy's moved from a small 7500 foot facility to a newly remodeled 28,000 square foot location just outside of Hazard in October, 2002 and increased from a nucleus of eight to sixteen skilled employees. Andy’s has been rewarded with numerous awards from both inside and outside the powersports industry. Honda Financial Services has honored Andy's Cycle Sales as a member of it’s Council of Excellence. Andy's Cycle Sales has been awarded the Dealer News Magazine Top 100 dealer award again in 2009. Harry Watts, Jr. is a self-employed entrepreneur. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and Hazard High School. A lifelong Kentucky resident, Harry and his wife Jamie along with their four children, three dogs and a cat live on a developed former coal mining site in Hazard. Harry is a strong supporter of Boy Scouts and is an assistant Cub Scout Den Leader. Harry and his family attend Lothair United Methodist Church and serve on several church committees. He has been racing motorcycles since 1973 and is a former National Champion. He is an avid promoter of motorcycle and ATV safety. Harry was one of the first certified ATV and motorcycle safety instructors in the state.
